Capturing ideas and thoughts, and writing them
down for others to see and use has been going on for thousands of years. NxtNote
combines the flexibility of a "sticky" note, with the speed of a
computer and accuracy of a
barcode.
Everyone uses "sticky" notes. The reasons are obvious: they
are easy to use, can be moved from one location to another and are the right
size to hold one "chunk" of information. But for all the advantages, there
is one glaring deficiency. In order to make them usable, they have to be
entered into a computer program in order to share the data with the team, and
interpret the results.
You have to essentially REDO what has already been done,
someone has to retype the sticky notes, trying to recognize occasionally dubious
handwriting, in order to determine what was written. All this takes
valuable time, costing you money!
